The first snaps of brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher have shown the siblings holding hands at their hometown gig.

The Oasis legends brought reunion magic home to Manchester in second explosive reunion gig at Heaton Park.

Manchester witnessed a momentous homecoming tonight as Liam and Noel Gallagher brought Oasis back to Heaton Park just a week after their monumental reunion in Cardiff.

Their second gig in 16 years, the show cemented what many are now calling the musical resurrection of the decade.

The city baked in 31°C heat, but that didn’t stop tens of thousands from queuing early, draped in bucket hats and Union Jacks, chanting Oasis classics well before gates opened.

Filmed at their second reunion concert, this time on native soil at Heaton Park, the photo shows Liam aloft with his trademark tambourine, and Noel, sunglasses on and fist pumped, standing strong on the mic.

With their concert in full swing, thousands of fans sang their hearts out to Oasis’ legendary catalogue of anthems.

The reunion tour comes 16 years after the band last performed together and fans have been eager to nab tickets to their planned performances, with some notably shelling out up to £1,000 for a ticket.
