Olly Murs has shared the exciting news of his son’s birth. The former X Factor contestant and chart-topper has shared that his family has expanded to four after wife Amelia welcomed their second bundle of joy – a baby boy.
The vocalist broke the delightful news on social media on Thursday, celebrating the birth of their son, whom they’ve named Albert. Olly and spouse Amelia are already doting parents to daughter Madison, who arrived in April 2024.
Taking to social media, he penned: “Walking out as four. Welcome to the world, our little Albert.”
Supporters flooded the comments with well-wishes, with one fan gushing: “Massive congratulations!! Welcome to the world baby Albert, Madison is going to be best big sister. Love to you all xxxx,” whilst another added: “Aaah beautiful news! Congratulations both,” reports the Mirror.

Another follower commented: “Stop, how beautiful! I am beyond happy for you all,” with someone else writing: “Welcome to the world baby Albert!! Congratulations to you all!!”
A fifth supporter chimed in: “Amazing news! Congratulations.”
Before their little lad’s entrance into the world, Amelia and Olly had been speculating about their baby’s gender, having chosen to keep it a surprise until birth. Amelia had revealed: “It’s hard to tell, because I was convinced Madi was a boy. But I do think this one is a boy.”
Olly had responded: “Obviously, that’d be cool, but I’m swaying more to thinking it’s a girl. I’d love that, I genuinely would. We’re reaching the point where we have to make decisions. But this feels like a different pregnancy.”
Earlier this year, Olly revealed that they were expecting another baby, but confessed it came as a big surprise. He shared: “You know you have those weeks where you just can’t tell anyone? And it’s been really exciting news for us both, a shock, we didn’t expect it to happen this quick, but amazing!
“It’s going to be mad, having a little brother or sister for Madison. Times have changed but in a good way.”
The couple first announced the arrival of baby Madison on 16 April 2024, after sharing their impending parenthood news back in December 2023.
The joyous baby news followed just months after the pair exchanged vows on 15 July 2023. Reflecting on fatherhood post-Madi’s arrival, he expressed: “Parenting is amazing, but it’s tough.
“I found the most overwhelming thing was having a girl. That was like . . . whoa. I don’t know how to be a woman, I don’t know their emotions. There will be things she’ll go through that I never went through. Even now, thinking about navigating her future is scary.”
