Orlando Bloom appears to have taken a swipe at Katy Perry.
Following the announcement of their recent split Katy, 40, has been romantically linked to Canadian politician Justin Trudeau after they were spotted having dinner at Le Violon restaurant in Montreal after her concert.
Images of the pair were shared by US media outlet TMZ, and two days later, Justin was seen enjoying her concert at the Bell Centre as part of her Lifetimes tour.
An Orlando Bloom fan recently posted an AI-generated image of the actor having dinner with former German politician Angela Merkel, joking that they were “sipping wine and slurping oysters”. They also teased that Orlando “couldn’t keep his hands off” the politician.
Bloom replied with three hand-clap emojis in the comment section.
Orlando and Katy share a four year old daughter, Daisy Dove, and began dating in 2016. The duo announced their engagement three years later, reports the Mirror.
The celebrity couple confirmed their split in June 2025 and released a joint statement regarding their relationship.
In a message released by their representatives the former couple said: “Due to the abundance of recent interest and conversation surrounding Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry’s relationship, representatives have confirmed that Orlando and Katy have been shifting their relationship over the past many months to focus on coparenting.”
The statement added: “They will continue to be seen together as a family, as their shared priority is – and always will be – raising their daughter with love, stability and mutual respect.”
