Jack Osbourne has launched a furious attack on Pink Floyd co-founder Roger Waters following his callous comments about Ozzy Osbourne’s passing.

In an interview with The Independent Ink on August 12, the 81-year-old Waters showed complete disdain for Ozzy’s groundbreaking heavy metal group Black Sabbath, declaring he “couldn’t care less” about the Paranoid legends.

He stated: “I don’t care about Black Sabbath, I never did, I have no interest. I couldn’t care less.”

Waters continued: “Ozzy Osbourne, who just died, bless him, in his whatever that state that he was in his whole life. We’ll never know… Although he was all over the TV for hundreds of years with his idiocy and nonsense.”

The remarks triggered immediate fury from Ozzy’s son Jack, who unleashed a scathing retort on his Instagram Stories on September 2. He raged: “Hey @rogerwaters. F*** You. How pathetic and out of touch you’ve become. The only way you seem to get attention these days is by vomiting out bull*** in the press.”

In a subsequent post, Jack declared: “My father always thought you were a c*** – thanks for proving him right (clown emoji),” accompanied by the hashtag “#f***rogerwaters”.

Ozzy died on July 22 aged 76, after a lengthy struggle with Parkinson’s disease. His passing sparked an avalanche of tributes from admirers and musicians worldwide.

Jack’s defence of his father follows his sister Kelly Osbourne’s criticism of WWE star Becky Lynch over her Ozzy remarks. During a WWE Raw event in Birmingham on 25 August, Becky Lynch ruffled feathers when she declared that Ozzy was “the only good thing” about the city, eliciting jeers from the crowd.

In response, Kelly Osbourne didn’t hold back, tweeting: “[Becky Lynch] you are a disrespectful dirtbag! Birmingham would not p*** on you if you were on fire. #birminghamforever. Shame on the WWE for allowing such things to be said about my father and his home! ! !”.
