Perrie Edwards has announced she and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain are expecting their second child together. The ex-Little Mix star is already mother to four-year-old Axel.
Posting to social media for her 18.8million followers, the ‘If He Wanted to He Would’ singer shared a heartwarming video revealing the news, displaying her growing bump alongside rare footage of son Axel and partner Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain. The 32-year-old captioned the post: “Guess what hunnies…” accompanied by a heart emoji.
The caption references lyrics from her track ‘If He Wanted To He Would’. The monochrome clip shows Perrie strolling away from the camera with her back turned, wearing a T-shirt bearing the message: “If He Wanted To He Would…” across the back.
She subsequently spins round to face the lens, beaming whilst cradling her expanding bump as the front of her shirt declares: “…and he did!” Partner Alex, also 32, then appears in shot, embracing and kissing his girlfriend.

Their firstborn Axel makes a precious cameo as Perrie extends her arms and her cherished eldest child approaches to plant a kiss on her bump. The trio then enjoy a tender group cuddle as the footage concludes, reports The Mirror.
Over recent weeks, Perrie has been hiding her flourishing baby bump at numerous occasions, including whilst performing ‘Relight My Fire’ alongside pop legend Robbie Williams in her hometown. The wonderful news for Perrie and her fiancé, Alex, arrives just weeks after speculation that the pair might finally be setting up home together – despite being engaged since 2016.

Given their clashing timetables, with Perrie frequently jet-setting around the globe on tour, and Alex establishing bases in cities like Liverpool and Istanbul for his football career, they’ve seldom had the chance to live under the same roof. Last year, Perrie admitted that they’d “never lived together” throughout their romance because of this.
But everything’s about to shift after Alex reached a mutual understanding to end his contract with Beşiktaş Jimnastik Kulübü, freeing him up to return to the United Kingdom.
“She’s never made a secret of the struggles that came with a long-distance relationship, but with Alex now being eyed by the likes of Birmingham City and Leeds, it looks like they’ll finally be a proper family – something they’ve always wanted,” a source told The Sun.
