Peter Andre shares son Junior’s ‘powerful’ statement amid bitter family feud

Peter Andre has shared his pride over his son Junior in an exclusive column after Junior shared a “powerful” statement on his social media amid their family feud

Peter Andre has expressed his admiration for his son Junior after he released a statement during his well documented family feud.

This comes after the young lad chose to step back from music for a “quiet season”, following Junior’s heartfelt social media announcement.

The Mysterious Girl hitmaker, aged 52, has two children with ex-wife Katie Price – son Junior, 20, and daughter Princess, 18 – and recently launched a scathing attack on Katie in a fiery statement about their children’s living situations.

Peter’s remarks followed Katie’s call for peace talks after she lashed out at both Peter and his management team The CAN Group, alleging she’d been ‘barred’ from participating in Princess’ documentary series, The Princess Diaries.

Following Peter’s declaration where he stated “I have stayed silent in the face of repeated lies from my ex-wife and her family”, their daughter Princess broke her silence.

When questioned about her parents’ relationship dynamics on Snapchat, she revealed: “To be honest it doesn’t affect me. At the end of the day, they broke up when I was two years old so I don’t even have any memory of them being together.”, reports the Mirror.

In contrast, Peter and Katie’s son Junior has kept mum on the drama. However, Junior recently shared a reflective post about his choice to embrace a “lowkey” period in his life.

Taking to Instagram, he penned: “Sometimes the most quiet seasons are the most powerful ones. I’ve been moving in silence, learning, growing, making moves you haven’t seen yet. I think about you all more than you know….and when the times right, you’ll understand why I’ve been so lowkey.

“My time is coming and when it does, we’re all going up together.”

Now, in Peter’s exclusive column for new! magazine, the singer and father, who also shares three children with wife Emily, expressed his admiration for his son.

Peter penned: “For those who saw Junior’s post on his socials, he said, the ‘quiet seasons are the most powerful ones,’ and I know he means it.

“After music success, he stepped back – to be a real teenager, really. Plus, he moved in with his girlfriend and has just been enjoying life. Knowing J, he’ll show the world what he’s got. He’s a talented songwriter.

“As his dad, of course I’ll always offer work advice, but he does his own thing and I love that. He will do things in his own time.”

This follows Peter dropping a bombshell statement regarding his former wife Katie Price, which declared: “For sixteen years, I have stayed silent in the face of repeated lies from my ex-wife and her family, out of respect for my children and loved ones, but staying silent has been incredibly frustrating. That ends today.

“The latest comments about my children’s welfare and living arrangements compel me to set the record straight. For well-documented reasons, and for their safety, Junior and Princess came into my care in 2018 and remained with me until they reached adulthood. In 2019, the family courts issued a legally binding order to enforce this arrangement. I have never made this public before, out of respect for my children.

“In 2011 and 2015, publicly documented court cases, found my ex-wife had made false claims. She was ordered to pay substantial damages and legal costs, and to apologise, to me and my management. The same falsehoods are being repeated today.

“Unfortunately, there are many more lies and baseless accusations I have yet to address. Those will now be dealt with in the coming months.”

In response to his allegations, a representative for Katie told the Mirror: “Kate is in a much better and clear headspace and is at peace with the situation, this was in the past and she doesn’t feel the need to bring up tit for tat comments, but more importantly she’s dealing with this the right way and it’s now in her lawyers hands. Kate will no longer be gaslight and bullied as she once was..”
