System of a Down have reignited their bitter feud with Oasis during the Britpop band’s reunion tour in America.

He wrote on Instagram: “Wow!! I kept ending up at the right place at the right time in Chicago!!!!!”
It comes after Noel Gallagher had blasted the US hit-makers as the worst band in history.
Noel, 58, said in 2022: “Do you ever look at the sky and think, I’m glad I’m alive? After I heard System of a Down, I thought, I’m actually alive to hear the shittiest band of all time.
“Which is quite something when you think about it.
“Of all the bands that have gone before and all the bands that’ll be in the future, I was around when the worst was around.”
The heavy metal band emerged at the same time as the Manchester-based hit-makers in 1994.
The Gallagher brothers played to a sellout crowds in Chicago last month and are playing at the Rose Bowl Stadium in California this weekend.
And fans of both bands traded insults on social media.
One wrote on website Reddit: “He’s [Daron] never taken a jab at Oasis.
“This is the first time. Oasis talked shit about system out of nowhere 20+ years ago.”
Another wrote: “I love it. I was saying that all weekend and loved as the Oasis fans started to decrease in numbers as the days passed and the SOAD and A7X shirts increased,” while another said: “Oasis and SOAD are both in my top 10 favourite bands. It’s awesome to be able to see them both almost back to back (Toronto).”
Noel is known for his acid-tongued comments about other musicians.
In 2023, he called Harry Styles and the current pop music landscape “embarrassing” in a radio rant.
He said: “They [music industry] like people like Harry Styles. They said ‘wear this dress and shut it.’ Wear this, and sing that, and go home.”
In the same year the guitarist also labelled the stars of today as f***ing idiots” and took aim at crooner Sam Smith.
