Sabrina Carpenter has released her latest music video and it sees her taking a bath with two pigs. The songstress, who is weeks away from headlining two days at BST Hyde Park in London, unveiled the song on Friday, with many fans assuming it was about her ex Barry Keoghan or another of her exes.

But as fans theorise, the 26-year-old has released a series of behind the scenes photos from the music video set. One of them sees her in the bath with two adorable pigs.

In it, Sabrina turns to the camera with both thumbs up, as she smiles to the camera. She wears a white lingerie set, with her bombshell blonde curls tumbling over her shoulders.

Another shot sees her wearing an orange top and shorts, kicking one leg up as she holds a gun. The gun returns in another shot, this time with Sabrina wearing denim shorts, a white faux fur top and towering pink high heels.

A fourth shows Sabrina in a cute pink ensemble, made up of a frilly mini-skirt and a faux fur shrug tied together with a silk ribbon. She poses with her hands on her hips and flashes her blue eyes off to the side.

There were plenty of other wardrobe changes, and she poked fun of it in the caption. Sabrina wrote: “Manchild bts. Take a shot every time I wear a new outfit.”

Many of her fans believed the song would be about ex-boyfriend Barry. The former couple broke up in December 2024, and when Sabrina teased her new single, she cryptically said: “This one’s about you!”

Naturally, fans thought it would be about actor Barry. It was also released the day before the one-year anniversary of Please Please Please, which Barry appeared in.

However Sabrina confirmed the song was not about Barry – however it could be about another of her exes like Shawn Mendes or Joshua Bassett.

Sabrina said on Instagram: “I wrote Manchild on a random Tuesday with Amy [Allen] and Jack [Antonoff] not too long after finishing Short n’ Sweet and it ended up being the best random Tuesday of my life.”

This confirmed that the song couldn’t be about Barry, as she was still with him when her album Short n’ Sweet was released.

She went on: “Not only was it so fun to write, but this song became to me something I can look back on that will score the mental montage to the very confusing and fun young adult years of life. It sounds like the song embodiment of a loving eye roll and it feels like a never ending road trip in the summer!

“Hence why I wanted to give it to you now – so you can stick your head out the car window and scream it all summer long! Thank you always and forever for listening and thank you men for testing me!”
