Seven celebs who’ve ‘made contact’ with loved ones from beyond the grave

These spooky stars are said to believe that death is not the end. Some of them have apparently contacted late loved ones – and others have already passed on themselves…

IS there anybody there? Yes, according to a psychic who reckons former PM Sir Winston Churchill has been in touch from the other side.

Spiritual medium Rob Harvey says the World War Two leader, who died aged 90 in 1965, contacted him to apologise for being rude to women during his lifetime, as the Daily Star revealed yesterday.

Now we take a look at some other famous folk who have supposedly sent or recieved messages from beyond the grave …

Sounds eerie: In 2023 singer Cheryl claimed her Girls Aloud bandmate Sarah Harding used the radio to contact her from the afterlife. Harding died in 2021 aged 39.

Cheryl says the Girls Aloud song Hear Me Out suddenly came on “without me car being switched onto Bluetooth or plugged in.” She added: “Sarah called her book ‘Hear me Out’ after that song, so I just knew it was from her.”

Deadly serious: Comedian John Cleese reckons he got a message from his Monty Python co-star Graham Chapman after consulting a psychic. He knew the psychic was in touch with the Life of Brian star, who died in 1989, because she referred to an obscure sketch she couldn’t have seen.

He recalls: “She said, ‘he’s rolling up his trouser leg,’ and I said, ‘oh, that’s a sketch we did about the Freemasons.’”

Angel’s in touch: Actress Tori Spelling, who starred in Beverly Hills 90210, was trying to contact her dad Aaron through a psychic when she accidentally made contact with Charlie’s Angels star Farrah Fawcett instead.

She said Farrah wanted her to send a message to her family about “what she was doing and what was going on” – and she passed on the information to her former partner Ryan O’Neal.

By George! It seems car radios are popular with the spirits of lost souls. Singer George Michael’s cousin, Chris Antoniou says, he was driving to Sainsbury’s one day when the radio cut out and the Wham! Star’s voice suddenly told him: “I’m free.”

Match maker : Ex-Blue Peter presenter Sarah Greene reckons she got a message from her dead husband Mike Smith encouraging her to hook up with his friend, Robb Gravett. Smith died, aged 59, in 2014.

She says: “I got a message almost saying: ‘For God’s sake, Greeno, Robb is trying to make contact with you because he actually wants to take you out…’So will you just get off your a**e and go and answer the phone next time it rings?!’”

Paranormal pandemic: Most Haunted TV presenter Yvette Fielding says she has regularly been in contact with her dead dad.

She says: “When Covid happened, I was really upset and couldn’t stop crying. My dad came through and tapped out the message: ‘Please don’t cry. Everything will be alright. I’m with you always.’”

No s*** Sherlock ! At a mass séance in London in 1934 the spirit of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, author of the Sherlock Holmes detective stories, is not only believed to have been contacted, but his ‘voice’ recorded too.

The writer, who had died in 1930, apparently passed on the message: “Take care of my boys and my good wife, Jean.”
