The trailer for the final episode of The White Lotus season three has got fans speculating about who will end up dead, but a chilling warning from episode one could see the end of one character
Fans of The White Lotus reckon Saxon Ratliff will end up dead by the end of the season finale.
The season opened with a shooting spree, with a body seen floating in the water. Some viewers have speculated that it could be Saxon’s brother Lochlan in the water.
Meanwhile, others have speculated that Blackpink star Lisa’s character Mook could be involved in some dodgy dealings that lead to the shooting. And Michelle Monaghan teased that her character Jaclyn could snap on her friends.
But now, the trailer for the finale has been released – and there’s still plenty of drama to come.
It opens with Jason Isaacs’ character Timothy Ratliff enquiring about a fruit, which comes from what is known in Thailand as the “suicide tree”.
One of the hotel’s health mentors Pam (Morgana O’Reilly) tells him: “Don’t eat it.”
However, viewers have watched as Timothy struggled with his professional life exploding back home. He’s been contemplating suicide, and also taking his family out with him.
Now, viewers are starting to think that it will be his fitness-loving son Saxon who will fall victim.
Another shot in the trailer shows someone making a smoothie. While a later one showed an unidentified body being wheeled out in a body bag.

So far in the season, it has been Saxon trying to push the smoothies on his siblings. And given that fruit goes into a smoothie, fans think Saxon might end up drinking the fruit from the “suicide tree” and die.
One person wrote online: “We finally see the poisonous fruit come into play and with one of Saxon’s shakes no less.”
Another wrote: “My money’s on Saxon being the body. Tim gets the call that the family’s gonna be fine but it’s already too late cause Saxon drank the smoothie.”
A third suggested: “I think Timothy makes the shake, and someone drinks it on accident. Probably Lochlan or Saxon.”
Another warned: “Turn that blender off!”
Fans will remember that the suicide tree first got mentioned in the season’s opening episode.
“We do have a lot of amazing fruit here,” Pam told Saxon, “but I wouldn’t eat that. That’s the fruit of the mighty pong pong tree and the seeds of the fruit are toxic.”
She clarified that it was “very poisonous”, but it seemed Saxon was taking extra notice in it.
Of course, the first episode also showed a shoot-out, so there will likely be a number of deaths in the finale.
