The mouthy bloke dubbed the “Wealdstone Raider” has gone viral again after starring in an Itsu ad – which has sparked support from unlikely fan Jade Thirlwall.

Real name Gordon Hill, the 59-year-old became an internet sensation in 2013 when a clip of him squaring up to a rival fan while watching his local team, became an Internet sensation still remembered today.

Social media has again been set alight after another video featuring the pint-sized Raider went viral.

It showed him in an ad for Asian inspired restaurant and supermarket brand Itsu. He’s seen adapting his catchphrase: “Do you want some? I’ll give it ya,” for the brand.

He whirls around with a pair of chopsticks before whipping out a box of Itsu food and declares: “You want dim sum? You want dim su, I’ll give it ya.”

The clip has sparked a wave of comments online, hailing the ad as “genius” and “comedy gold”.

Among the flood of support for the promo was one from probably the Raider’s most unlikely fan – former Little Mix singer Jade Thirlwall.

The 32-year-old posted a comment alongside the clip branding it and the Raider “phenomenal”.

And footie fanatic the Raider says the comment from Jade left him “stunned”.

Comparing his own career to the superstar singer’s, he said about her backing: “It feels like a fresh era of fame for me after switching my iconic phrase to ‘Do you want dim sum? We’ll give it ya’, for Itsu.

“I’m sure Jade can relate to it, as she’s doing so well after leaving Little Mix.” He added: “A load of mates sent me the comment from Jade, and I couldn’t believe she called me ‘phenomenal’.

“I’ve always been a Little Mix fan. I’ve got fans everywhere I go, but this is special. I hope I get to meet her soon.”

The Raider also revealed his reps are now reaching out to the singer to “invite her for some dim sum”.

It’s not just Jade who has gushed over the Raider.

Since the Itsu video went live, it’s racked up more than five million views on the brand’s TikTik page alone.

It has also had millions more views across social media – plus thousands of comments, likes and shares.

Other social media users have joined Jade in expressing their love for the Raider, with one saying they want the pair to team up and put out a Christmas single.
