Piers Morgan 'set for Knighthood' as bookies tip him to be Prime Minister

Good Morning Britain host Piers Morgan looks set to take his career to new heights after bookmakers slashed odds of him becoming Prime Minister of the United Kingdom in the next 20 years.

Coral have reported a stark rise in punters placing bets on Susanna Reid’s co-host making it into Number 10 by 2040.

As a result, they have slashed odds from 500-1 to 50-1.

The betting giant believe that Piers’ strong and vocal backing of the NHS during on ongoing coronavirus outbreak has put him in good stead with the normally polarised public.

“We’ve seen punters placing bets on Piers for PM and have slashed the odds on it happening.”

The move would no doubt be praised by Piers’ good friend Present of the United States Donald Trump.

In fact odds of Piers being Knighted are now down to just 3-1.

“We’re not sure if Piers has ever met the Queen, but if he carries on the way he is in this time of need he could well be booking himself an appointment early next year,” added Aitkenhead.
