Keith Duffy 'hangs up' on Lorraine Kelly as GMB interview descends into chaos

Keith Duffy and his Boyzlife collaborator Brian McFadden rang into the Good Morning Britain studios this morning, chatting with host Lorraine Kelly.

The two have decided to donate the proceeds of their new song You Needed Me to the charity Age UK, to help those in need during the coronavirus pandemic.

Keith, 45, opened up about their decision to raise money for the cause via video call, praising the charity’s work for the nation’s elderly.

Lorraine quizzed the duo about their self-isolation arrangements, wondering who Keith was shacking up with for the next few weeks.

The former Coronation Street star started explaining that he was isolating in Dublin with his folks, but the signal suddenly cut out in the middle of the call.

With his words glitching, Lorraine started shaking her head, wondering why she couldn’t understand what Keith was saying.

In a flash, his image disappeared from the screen, appearing to have ended the dodgy video call.

Lorraine remarked: “It’s kind of gone a bit awry.”

Keith’s WiFi cut out dramatically in the middle of his interview with Lorraine

Ever the joker, Brian chimed: “He’s got that Irish WiFi – it’s no good.”

Former Westlife singer Brian revealed he has missed Keith over recent weeks, after years of touring together as a double act.

He conceded: “We’re looking at the positive side as well. You’re never going to get this chance again to spend quality time with your loved ones.”

Suddenly, at the very end of the interview, Keith’s image popped back up on the screen.

Chuffed to see his pal return, Brian exclaimed: “He’s back!”
