Coronavirus: Love Island Dr Alex George vows to never stop fighting Covid-19

Dr Alex George has vowed to never stop fighting the coronavirus during the current pandemic.

The Love Island star, 30, has been sharing hard-hitting posts to his Instagram page in a bid to raise awareness during the uncertain time.

Alex is an A&E doctor in London who has been back at work since his stint on Love Island 2018.

In his most recent social media snap, the star shared a picture while working for the NHS in hospital, vowing to never stop the fight against the virus.

In the photograph, Alex can be seen in full PPE – including a face mask, shield, goggles, and gloves.

The media personality has a stethoscope hanging over his neck and is posing with a uplifting fist in the air.

Alex shared the inspiring picture with his 1.3m followers on Instagram.

He captioned the uplifting snap: “No matter how many times this virus beats us down, we will stand up and we will fight back.”

His devoted followers flocked to the post, showering the doctor with support and comments of adoration.

One said: “Stay safe, a huge thanks to you and all your colleagues in the NHS and indeed all our key workers.”

Alex later added a comment paying respects to nurse Areema Nasreen, who sadly died after contracting the virus.

He wrote on his social media post: “So sad about the passing of nurse Areema Nasreen. Thoughts to her family and friends.”
