Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been financially-independent from the royal family since April 1, and have already been making moves career-wise.
Meghan, who had her breakout role in legal drama Suits, provided the voiceover for Disney’s Elephants, much to the delight of her supporters.
And it’s reported that Meghan is keen for a full-scale Hollywood takeover.
The Duchess of Sussex, 38, reportedly has Angelina Jolie lined-up as a mentor to help her achieve her Hollywood dreams.
According to Australian media outlet New Idea, Meghan has looked up to the actress/humanitarian, 44, for years.
A source alleged to the publication: “It’s an open secret Meghan’s aspired to be like Ange for many years, just like she’s so in awe of Princess Diana.
“Meghan has so much respect for Ange and everything she’s achieved on a personal level as well as professionally.”
Both Meghan and Angelina have undertake lots of charity and humanitarian work, and so also share that in common.
The insider reportedly continued: “Her work for good causes and the UN speaks for itself, but Meghan marvels at how Angelina’s managed to balance this with a thriving box office career and raising six kids.”
Angelina and Meghan are reported to have met a handful of times in the past, and are said to have a “mutual respect” for each other and share an “intellectual connection”.
Angelina is reportedly just as keen to build upon her friendship with Meghan, as the Duchess is said to be.
