Cardi B has candidly spoken about her hospital visit last week after she was rushed in with a stomach illness, which saw her throwing up everything she ate.
The 27-year-old Bodak Yellow rapper opened up on her illness after a social networker taunted her for “using up hospital beds” during the coronavirus pandemic, which has seen over 6,000 deaths in the UK alone.
After the Twitter user accused Cardi of exploiting her celebrity status to get a hospital bed, Cardi revealed it was so bad she lost 5lbs in four days.
The Twitter user wrote: “One thing that has been ticking me is that there’s a close friend of my aunt’s that has the coronavirus and she went to the hospital but they told her, to go home they can’t serve her.
“So she’s been stuck at home with the rest of her family without getting help.”

The user continued: “But then I go on social media and see Cardi B at the hospital because she ‘thinks’ she has the virus and getting the help she needs. I know celebs have advantages, but this is someone’s life.
“You can allow a celeb (who, by the way can help with a few donations and help the hospital) who thinks they have the virus to enter the hospital, (She ended up not having it) than an individual who does have it. Okay. The world is a mess.”
Cardi wasn’t impressed with what the troll said and responded rapidly.

Cardi tweeted back: “Ummmmmm I was literally throwing up everything I swallow and lost 5 pounds in 4 days due to stomach issues. NOT CAUSE OF THE RONA. You can still go to the hospital for other problems you kno.”
Last Thursday, Cardi took to her official Twitter account to tweet about her time at the hospital, but later deleted it.
Cardi tweeted at the time: “Honestly cause I been having some real bad stomach problems for four days I went to the ER last night and I’m feeling way better.

“Hopefully tomorrow I will feel no more pain.”
Previously Cardi slammed celebrities for creating “confusion” by announcing they have coronavirus without showing symptoms.
She hit out: “The general public, people that work regular jobs, people that get regular pay-checks, the middle class, the poor…they’re not getting treated like celebrities.”
