Professional dancer Karen Hauer has discussed her future on Strictly Come Dancing and a brand new lockdown project.
The 37-year-old BBC star has a brand new venture called Home Festival Fun, which is a workout scheme for the public to exercise during lockdown.
Karen is the creative director for the online project and posts regular workout videos and live classes on Instagram.
She’s also involved with the Sport England #StayInWorkOut campaign on how to stay active during the coronavirus lockdown.
She said she wanted to help her followers stay fit and strong during the Covid-19 crisis, exclusively telling Daily Star Online: “We’ve been plucked out of our daily routines and structures so, for me it’s really important to have a set structure.

“I’m injecting all those little workouts that will be extremely beneficial for your body and your mind.
“Its always been extremely important to stay active and stay fit. Especially at these times where there is a lot of stress and anxiety and boredom.”
The star added: “Exercising is just about moving around. Whether you’re dancing, workout out… or just cleaning the house or dancing in your kitchen. There are so many different things that you can do which will help you stay active.

“It will boost your endorphins and help you mentally and to stay positive at these times.”
When asked about the future of Strictly Come Dancing due to coronavirus, Karen assured they will do “whatever it takes” to keep the show alive.
When asked if they could do the programme from their living rooms, Karen revealed: “Obviously we all love the Strictly magic. Whatever it takes to lift the spirits of the community. I’m happy to try anything.”
Her ex husband and co-star Kevin Clifton and her other Strictly Come Dancing cast-member AJ Pritchard both revealed they’re leaving the show.

She said: “You know they are definitely going to be missed. Whenever anybody leaves the show they’re going to be missed.”
Karen spoke about how much she loved the show, saying she’s so grateful to be a part of the beautiful team, hinting she wasn’t considering leaving anytime soon.
She said: “I love Strictly and I’m very grateful for the platform it has given me. Especially at these times and we can use our platforms to help everybody out and share kindness and positivity and keep everybody happy at home.
“We have a beautiful team in Strictly and you’re always part of the family no matter what.”
