Joe Swash passed the time in lockdown by changing his appearance – but partner Stacey Solomon was less than impressed with his latest look.
With non-essential businesses currently closed due to coronavirus, meaning hairdressers and barbers are a no-go, the former EastEnders star decided to dig out his shaver and give his facial fuzz a trim.
Taking matters into his own hands, the father-of-two opted for a drastically different look – and, of course, Stacey documented the whole saga on social media.
Speaking to the camera, she said: “Joe just said to me ‘I’m just going to shave my beard because I haven’t done it since isolation’.

“I thought thank God because it’s all spiky and it hurts when I kiss him.”
However, it wasn’t the facial trim Stacey had in mind.
She turned the camera to reveal Joe rocking a handlebar mustache – and looked strikingly similar to Tiger King’s Joe Exotic.

“What the hell is that?” the Loose Women panelist exclaimed.
“Is this a joke? Are you actually keeping it?”
The Dancing on Ice winner failed to give his girlfriend an answer, but according to Stacey, his new facial fuzz is here to stay.

She wrote: “I really thought it was a joke but I think this is what he actually wants to have. I don’t understand it.
But I’ll stand by him through this. Why Have I never noticed how much of a bum chin he has until now?”
Making light of the situation, Stacey then played the Village People – YMCA as Joe smouldered for the camera.
