Love Island's Chris Hughes deletes social media after Jesy Nelson break-up

Love Island star Chris Hughes has deleted his social media accounts after his split from Little Mix’s Jesy Nelson.

The reality TV hunk appears to have currently taken down both his Instagram and Twitter accounts after the break-up.

The moves comes after it was claimed last week Jesy, 28, dumped Chris over the phone – ending their 16-month relationship.

A source said at the time: “She split up with him last week in a phone call, as she thought the relationship had run its course.

There are no hard feelings.”

The insider continued telling Mail One: “Jesy said he was surprisingly fine about it and thinks she will stay friends with him.”

Daily Star Online has contacted reps for Jesy and Chris for comment.

The split came only a week after Little Mix released their latest single Break Up Song.

It’s claimed Jesy and Chris, 27, didn’t seen each other “in ages” due to deadly Covid-19 pandemic.

Jesy recently confessed she chose not to isolate with Chris in lockdown. Instead the islander has been staying with his flatmate.

She recently told Australian newspaper The Sunday Telegraph: “Chris isn’t with me right now because he is in isolation with his flatmate, so I haven’t seen him for a while.”

But at the time she claimed there was no issues between them, adding: “My love life is fine and dandy.”

The former have both been in high-profile relationships in the past.

Jesy used to date TOWIE star Chris Clark, while islander Olivia Attwood is the ex of Hughes.

It was claimed this week that Chris is hoping to win Jesy back.

We’ll have to watch this space.
