X Factor chief Simon Cowell wears an inflatable suit on planes to protect himself from germs.
The contraption is designed so you don’t have to touch any surfaces during your flight.
His friend Sinitta invested in one for her and Simon, 60, long before the world started to worry about the coronavirus.
The singer, 56, said: “Simon is a germaphobe. We take our packet of wet wipes and we wipe down the plane when we fly.
“We wear pyjamas. And I got us our own flying suits, which are inflatable. They are actual outfits that we wear on the plane, which are like shellsuits.

“They cover your hands and have inbuilt pillows and masks for your eyes, so you don’t have to touch or come into contact with anything.
“We still wipe everything down before we sit down in our travel suits. It is quite
funny but we don’t care how crazy we look as Simon and I are silly anyway. We just want to protect ourselves.”

Earlier this month Simon revealed he has been tested for Covid-19. The dad-of-one panicked after seeing Heidi Klum fall ill while they were filming America’s Got Talent.
But she was later cleared of having the virus. Since then he has been holed up at his Los Angeles pad. Sinitta said: “I think he is quite relieved he is in America as he has got a big garden so he can be outside.

“He is a little more connected with the rest of the world now because he’s been doing everyday chores and things like that, which I think he is enjoying. He has been on his bike and he does his own grocery shopping.
“And he has been able to spend his lockdown time working on the book with his son Eric and enjoying that time with him, which is fantastic.”
