Queen legend Freddie Mercury made a cheeky sex joke to Elton John after meeting him for the first time.
The music superstar, who passed away from AIDS in 1991, joked Elton wound’t make it into his Little Black Book as it was ‘bursting at the seams’.
Instead he teased he would put him in his white book.
On Sunday morning the official Freddie Mercury Twitter account posted a link to an article which listed many artists who influenced the late star which highlighted Elton.
Speaking about their close bond, the piece went on to quote the Who Wants To Live Forever superstar recalling the time he first met the Rocketman.

“Elton’s a good old cookie. I love him to death and I think he’s fabulous,” Freddie said.
“To me he’s like one of those last Hollywood actresses of any worth.
“He has been a pioneer in rock’n’roll.
“The first time I met him he was wonderful, one of those people you can instantly get on with.”
Freddie added: “He said he liked ‘Killer Queen’ and anyone who says that goes into my white book. My black book is bursting at the seams!”

Writing in his autobiography, Me: Elton John which was released last year ,Elton recalled the tragic passing of the star.
The Candle In The Wind singer explained: “He hadn’t told me he was ill.
“I visited him a lot when he was dying, although I could never stay for much longer than an hour.
“It was too upsetting – I didn’t think he wanted me to see him like that.”
Elton, 72, continued: “Someone so vibrant and so necessary, someone that would have got better with age and gone from strength to strength, dying in such a horrible, arbitrary way.

“A year later they could have kept him alive with antiretroviral drugs. Instead, there was nothing they could do for him.”
Going into detail about Freddie’s heartbreaking condition, Elton added: “He was too frail to get out of bed, he was losing his sight, his body was covered in Kaposi’s sarcoma lesions, and yet he was still definitely Freddie, gossiping away, completely outrageous.
“I couldn’t work out whether he didn’t realise how close to death he was or if he knew perfectly well but was determined not to let what was happening to him stop him being himself.”
After Freddie’s death, Elton was spurred on to tackle the growing AIDS epidemic.
In 1992, the singer launched the Elton John AIDS Foundation and has raised over $450 million to date to help beat the virus.
