Nadine Coyle confirms Girls Aloud reunion 'conversations' ahead of anniversary

Girls Aloud are gearing up to celebrate 20 years in the music business since catapulting to fame on Popstars: The Rivals.

But, seven years after they announced their split, Nadine Coyle has confirmed there are discussions to celebrate the landmark anniversary.

Girls Aloud split in 2013 following their hugely successful Ten: The Hits Tour after a three-year hiatus but music insiders now claim that Cheryl, Nicola Roberts, Sarah Harding, Kimberley Walsh and Nadine Coyle could be set to rake in millions with a nationwide tour and even new music.

With news that is surely set to excite Alouders across the country, Nadine has revealed talks are happening.

“There’s been loads of conversations and people now are getting in contact, like, ‘What do we do?’ It’s still early,” she said.

During their ten years of dominating the charts, Girls Aloud racked up 21 top ten hits including four number one singles and six top ten albums.

Speaking to Angela Scanlon on her Thanks A Million podcast, Nadine added: “I’m 34-years-old so to think that I’ve been doing anything for 20 years is shocking, isn’t it?”

Nadine revealed to OK! Magazine last month that her former bandmate Cheryl had reached out to her via email.

“It’s been seven years since the last reunion tour and it feels like seven years,” said Nadine.

” Cheryl emailed me recently and I bumped into Kimberley a few weeks ago as well, which was lovely.”

“I haven’t seen Sarah or Nicola in a long time, but everything remains very cordial.”

Kimberley Walsh addressed rumours of a Girls Aloud reunion, saying: “We do have an anniversary coming up but it’s a long way off still.

“Everybody is busy at the moment but I have a lot of love for all the girls. I’m proud of all of them.

“All the songs feel like a distant memory but if I hear them then I think they’re good.”
