Liam Gallagher is unrecognisable as he shows off long grey beard during lockdown

Liam Gallagher took everyone by surprise as he stepped out sporting a radical new lockdown look.

The Oasis frontman, 47, looked unrecognisable as he went about his daily business as he sported a lengthy black and grey beard.

Keeping it casual, he sported a dark coat with the hood up, pairing it matching black shorts and trainers as he took a stroll close to his home in North London.

It seemed that the Wonderwall hitmaker had popped out to grab some essentials as he swung a blue and white striped plastics bag.

The singer was almost unidentifiable as his new straggled beard encompassed his face whilst the hood covered his hair.

According to The Sun, an onlooker vocalised: “I barely recognised him.”

One flabbergasted fan also took to Twitter after stumbling across the publication, with one fan likening the star to Gandalf from Lord Of The Rings.

The tweet read: “Blooming hell, I thought it was Gandalf there for a moment.”

Liam is engaged in a lengthy feud with his brother and bandmate Noel, and it seems he has extinguished any hopes of a budding reunion.

It was believed that the brothers had put the drama behind them and moved forward from the arguments.

However, it seems that the bitter war seems to have manifested again, after Liam took a swipe at his brother Noel, branding him “jealous”.

Liam’s jibe came after the announcement that Noel had released an old Oasis demo after he came across the track during a lockdown spring clean.

Noel wrote on Twitter: “Like the rest of the world, I’ve had infinite time to kill lately so I thought I’d finally look and find out what was actually on the hundreds of faceless unmarked CDs I’ve got lying around in boxes at home.

“As fate would have it I have stumbled across an old demo which I thought had been lost forever.”
