Liam Gallagher says he'd be 'no good' as James Bond as he's not PC

Liam Gallagher previously revealed to his 3.1million followers he thinks he could replace Daniel Craig as 007 after No Time To Die is released.

However, only days later the 47-year-old had a change of heart as he admitted he wouldn’t fare well playing the famous spy as the role is “too PC” for him.

With the singer isolating with fiancé Debbie Gwyther at their North London home, the Wall of Glass hitmaker has regularly been answering questions from fans on Twitter.

He wrote: “Good Morning Brothers n Sisters it’s been too long how we all holding up LG x.”

One user asked: “Good morning Liam! What qualities do you think you have to be the next 007? That would be brilliant!”

However, Liam admitted while he isn’t a thespian, he is “cool as f**k.”

He replied: “I wouldn’t say its the acting – you don’t have to be a good actor to be Bond. You’ve just gotta be cool as f**k and funny.

“Bond is becoming very PC – Roger Moore would be useless today – it’s all about ‘don’t upset anyone’,” another remarked.

And Liam responded: “Exactly I’d be no good.”

Earlier this week, the former Oasis frontman informed his fans he would be a “mega bond”.

“I’d be a mega Bond. The new James Bond one, it’s all about dying, innit.

“Die not next week, can’t be a***d dying today, might die f*****g next month, there’s a lot of death going on. But you know they can give us a call, why not?”

While he may not be the frontrunner to play the lead, the musician did express an interest in possibly penning the next track in the spy franchise.

Following in the footsteps of 18-year-old Billie Eilish, who bagged a No1 with her track No Time To Die theme tune, Liam explained he would like to see more of his songs in movies and TV shows.

“Gone is a top tune – I could see that in a Tarantino film. If I could work with anyone,” he chipped in.
