Michelle Keegan red-faced after surprise interruption during Brassic livestream

Michelle Keegan was left red-faced during a live question and answer session with her Brassic co-stars.

While promoting season two of the hit Sky programme, Michelle had to leave the stream after her dog, Pheobe, caused a commotion.

Mark Wright’s wife, 32, joined her castmates last night as they rounded together to chat about the upcoming series which launches tonight.

While Tom Hanson, who plays the role of Cardi was chatting about Cardi’s new romance, he was interrupted by an unfamiliar sound.

Keegan, who plays Erin, admitted that it was, in fact, her doorbell being rung while Pheobe was heard barking in the background.

The former Our Girl babe suddenly left the stream to calm her pooch, leaving her co-stars mocking her because of the ordeal.

Jamie East who was hosting the event poked fun at former The Only Way Is Essex star Mark Wright, claiming he could have been floored by the sausage dog who was ecstatic by the doorbell.

As Michelle came back onto the screen, Hanson joked: “Maybe I’ll just fart during your question!”

Series two of Brassic picks up after Vinnie faked his own death and subsequently went into hiding in a bid to escape Terrance McCann.

Despite keeping spoilers under wraps, Michelle revealed that her character will go through “a bit of bother” which eventually leads to a dark storyline.

The Daily Mirror revealed that Erin will become the victim of a sex attack but is left unsure as to whether she should report the attack.

Brassic’s creator Joe Gilgun added that he had faith in Michelle to switch from a comedy performance to drama scenes.

“I feel like Michelle’s really had an opportunity on this show to showcase her emotional range.

“She’s an unbelievable actress and we wanted her to be able to show what she’s made of.”

Speaking of Erin’s upcoming storyline, he revealed: “I think a lot of women can feel embarrassed by this awful thing that’s happened to them.

“They’re made to feel that way, which is awful.”

The former Emmerdale actor continued: “In these scenes, we wanted to remind everyone that women have a voice, but men can make them feel unsafe.

“Erin is a very strong woman; she’s a survivor. We wanted to show she’s tough.

“She’s got [son] Tyler to think of and ultimately, it’s about surviving and coping with what has happened to her.”

Series two of Brassic will hit Sky One and NOW TV tonight [May 7th]
