Elon Musk and girlfriend Grimes welcomed their first child together earlier this week.
Soon after the tech billionaire posted a picture of himself holding onto his healthy baby boy, he was soon quizzed about the newborn’s name.
In typical Musk/Grimes’ fashion, the couple revealed they had named their new bundle of joy X Æ A-12 Musk, which soon prompted a Twitter meltdown.
A tidal wave of meme and gifs soon circulated on social media, with many questioning how to pronounce the off-the-wall name.

Some even believed that the collection of numbers and symbols is a riddle that adds up to a completely different name.
While others thought the name could be Sasha Archangel, Aoife and Xeo.
While the 45-year-old, who shares five children with his first wife Justine Musk, has yet to officially confirm the proper pronunciation of the name, Business Insider came up with their theory.

The magazine stated the name could be pronounced as “Ecks Ash A minus 12”.
Detailing the phonetics, the reported that the letter ‘X’ could be pronounced as it sounds, or it could stand for “ten” as it is the Roman numeral for 10.
Æ’ is known as an ash, and the actual sound the symbol refers to is very much like the letter A in “cat” or “bad”.
While the couple has yet to explain the correct articulation of the name, Grimes explained the meaning behind the abstract symbols.
Taking to Twitter, she wrote: “X, the unknown variable.
“Æ, my elven spelling of Ai (love &/or Artificial intelligence)
“A-12 = precursor to SR-17 (our favourite aircraft). No weapons, no defenses, just speed. Great in battle, but non-violent + (A=Archangel, my favourite song).”
