Love Island's Joanna Chimonides horrified after finding 'pubic hair in sandwich'

Love Island babe Jonnna Chimonides has claimed she found a pubic hair in a store-bought sandwich.

The 23-year-old reality TV star said she tucked into a Jamaican patty sandwich after a workout when she found an unexpected clump of hair wrapped around the meat.

Speaking on FUBAR radio, Joanna revealed that her discovery left her unable to eat for the rest of the day because she felt so nauseous upon seeing it.

She said: “After my beautiful workout I then sat down, heated up my Jamaican patty and I was very much excited.

“I opened up that Jamaican patty to a clump of hair that looked probably borderline like pubes.

“Have you not seen it on my Instagram story?

“I didn’t eat for a whole day because I was feeling so sick.

“I videoed it and the hair was so wrapped around the hair inside and I was pulling it.

“It was awful.”

The former Islander didn’t say where she’d purchased the sandwich but she has been in touch with the store.

They have asked Joanna to go to the store in person to talk about her experience, which she is refusing to do.

She continued: “I’ve been in touch with [the people who made it] and they want me to go down there to fill in a food review type thing.

“No I can do that through email.

“I don’t know if you know but there’s a pandemic going on, and I’ve just found pubes in my Jamaican patty!”

Joanna shot to fame on Love Island series five last summer.

She was coupled up with Michael Griffiths, but the pair split up after he refused to leave the villa with her when she got dumped.

This year’s summer series of Love Island has been cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic, bosses have confirmed.

ITV say the show will come back “bigger and better” in 2021.

The announcement has been made after much speculation about how the hit reality series, which usually airs in the UK in June, would go ahead due to the Covid-19 outbreak.
