Emily Atack 'planning bottomless brunches' at garden centres as lockdown's eased

Emily Atack has told fans she is planning on attending ‘lots of bottomless bunches’ at garden centres in the coming weeks after the reports revealed Boris Johnson will allow them to re-open on Wednesday.

The Inbetweeners babe took to Twitter to make the comments on Saturday afternoon.

Posting to her 347,000 followers, Emily wrote: “Currently planning loads of bottomless brunches at the garden centre.”

Bottomless brunches allow party-lovers to enjoy unlimited booze for a few short hours.

Replying to the post, one fan wrote: “You’re probably not the only one.”

Another added: “Sounds fun.”

However, others were not as sure about the plan.

“It says on the BBC that the cafes will still be closed,” one supporter pointed out.

A second chimed in: “Emily. If you read the news reports, the cafes in the Welsh garden centres have to remain closed.

“So unless Boris goes further than that, you might have to wait a bit longer for the bottomless brunch.”

A third replied: “Sounds epic”.

On Sunday evening Boris Johnson will make a televised speech to the nation at 7pm in which he will announce the first stage of his plans to ease the lockdown and restart the economy.

It is widely expected that the one hour exercise a day rule will be axed in favour of unlimited outdoor actives so long as social distancing is adhered to.

Meanwhile, garden centres will be given 48 hours to get their stores ready to open on Wednesday.

This means accepting cashless payments, protective screening at check outs and markings on the shop floor to keep two metres distance from other shoppers.
