Piers Morgan ribs Amanda Holden with cheeky surgery jibe on Good Morning Britain

Piers Morgan made a cheeky surgery jibe at Amanda Holden on today’s episode of Good Morning Britain.

Britain’s Got Talent judge and Heart FM star Amanda, 49, was on the show today discussing her new charity single during the coronavirus pandemic.

Amanda discussed the coronavirus fundraising efforts of the incredible Captain Tom Moore as she spoke to Piers and his co-star Susanna Reid.

Amanda said: “I feel I have a lot in common with him Susanna because he was 99 when he released his first single, I’m 49, so I’m technically an old lady as well.”

Susanna said: “Oi, I’m 49 we’re not old ladies.”

Amanda has been open in the past about her Botox use.

Speaking ahead of a semi-final for BGT: The Champions last year, Simon said: “I love watching ”the Botox years.” All of us are like, Christ, we had a lot that year. Not so much that year… maybe a bit too much that year.

“You know, the old clips of us are hysterical, Amanda’s always like, ”What was I thinking?”, I said, ”Well, I don’t look a lot better.” I look all right now, but certain years it was like, ”Wow, I don’t know what was going on.”

Back in 2014 Amanda confirmed that she had given up Botox following the difficult birth of her daughter Hollie in 2012.

Speaking on This Morning she said: “Everybody knows that in the past, yes, I’ve talked about having Botox

“Since spending too much time in intensive care after nearly losing a baby, I’ve not gone under the knife or had any injections.

“But I have facials, I buy things from well-known chemists, it’s not how I look physically, it’s how my husband and how I feel about myself.”

Good Morning Britain airs weekdays at 6am on ITV
