Love Island's Camilla Thurlow and Jamie Jewitt expecting first baby together

Love Island stars Camilla Thurlow and Jamie Jewitt are expecting their first baby together, the happy couple has revealed.

The sweethearts, who fell for one another on the ITV2 reality show back in 2017, broke the news with an adorable Instagram video this evening.

Hinting at the happy news in the post, Camilla, 30, added the caption: “So @jamiejewitt_ and I have managed to make something pretty special and we’re not talking about the video… #17weeks #October2020.”

The clip saw the lovebirds holding up an ultrasound of their little one, as Jamie let out whoops and cheers, making it clear he couldn’t wait to become a dad.

Camilla and Jamie’s pet pups Audrey and Guss jumped around excitedly beside them, as the parents-to-be waved about the print-outs of the ultrasound.

In tune to Vanilla Ice’s “Ice Ice Baby,” the video saw Jamie and Camilla turn the ultrasound into a paper aeroplane, sending it to their friends and family to offer a glimpse of the little one.

Former Explosive Ordnance Disposal expert Camilla quickly became a fan favourite during her appearance on Love Island three years ago.

Model Jamie was a late arrival into the villa, quickly sweeping the English Rose off her feet after a string of ill-fated dates with the other bachelors on the show.

The sweethearts made it into the series finale, narrowly missing out on the £50,000 prize as winners Kem Cetinay and Amber Davies beat them at the final hurdle.

Since leaving the show, their relationship has gone from strength to strength, with Jamie publicly thanking Camilla for supporting him through his battle with depression.

Moving in together in 2018, Jamie opened up about living together in an interview with OK! Magazine last year.

He said: “It’s been a real learning curve. We’ve both had to change a lot in our living tactics.

“At first we were pretty terrible because I’m not the most domesticated human being, but now we are feeling really settled. We’re getting quite good at it actually.”

Congratulations Camilla and Jamie!
