Stacey Solomon quitting social media again after 'sad and awful' days

Stacey Solomon has announced she is quitting social media.

The Loose Women star, who is known for keeping her fans updated with her day to day life, says for at least the next 24 hours she will take a social media hiatus.

Posting an adorable snap of her son Rex, Joe Swash’s partner wrote: “I’m going to be off my stories today.

“For anyone who’s having an awful day. Or feeling alone…

“I really hope this smile brings you a moment of happiness.

“Even on the saddest days, Pickle you give us so many moments when we forget all that’s happening and only know the joy you bring us.”

Stacey, 30, previously sparked concern amongst fans after taking a break from social media for ‘personal reasons’.

At the time the comments sparked fears her and boyfriend Joe Swash were on the rocks, however, she spoke out to calm concerns.

She previously said: “I wasn’t going to say anything at all in case it gets made into a story. But so many stories have been written over the last couple of days so I thought I should say… ‘Personal reasons’ isn’t code for divorce (we aren’t married but you know what I mean).

“It just means some things are happening in our lives personally at the moment. And some things aren’t mine to share.

“We love you all & hope you’re all ok. These are really strange, scary and emotional times and it’s not easy for anyone.”

Stacey also opened up to fans about finding it hard to leave the house at times and suffering with anxiety.

Speaking earlier this month, the TV regular said: “I’m off to do our food shop while Joe holds down the fort here.

“I don’t know why but I’ve really struggled to leave the house and do shop runs and stuff. I’ve only done it twice since this all began.

“I get really comfortable at home in my ‘safe place’ and then feel really anxious to leave.

“But every time I do I realise how important it is to get out (if you can) and do something that you normally sued to do and enjoy. So I’m going to do it today.

“Thinking of those who can’t leave their homes.”
