Robbie Williams wishes money 'didn't exist' despite his £200million wealth

Take That legend Robbie Williams says he wishes money didn’t exist – despite being worth £200million.

The singer, who will rejoin the Take That lads for an online concert in the coming weeks, says until recently he had no clue how much cash he had.

The Rock DJ singer, 46, admits despite his wealth he wishes we all lived in “another reality” where money didn’t matter.

The Angels star said: “I don’t think money should exist.

“Communism didn’t work, capitalism doesn’t work, I think it all causes division and it’s very, very harmful.

“I wish there was another reality where none of this has to exist.

“Everybody would have to be in though. I’m not going to do it by myself.

“This system is fed, but I played the game and I got very fortunate that I rolled two sixes.

“Things need paying for. My lifestyle is f***ing huge. I could downsize but I don’t want to.”

Robbie, who is set to raise millions for charity with thanks to the virtual Take That reunion on Friday, said his attitude to money changed after his first daughter was born.

He now has four children to feed and has had to “become a man.”

Robbie also insisted that money was never a motivation in his career.

He said: “I was there for the show and not the business because the business made me really unhappy.”
