Katie Price has opened up about her first marriage to Peter Andre, admitting she didn’t want to split from the Mysterious Girl singer.
The pair’s marriage was rocked by cheating claims, but the mum-of-five insisted she was always faithful to her former husband.
Opening up about the breakdown of their relationship, Katie, 42, revealed that she hoped that marriage “would be forever”.
Speaking out this week, she said: “We had the issues with Pete. I was accused of getting off with a guy and someone told him that a paper had pictures of it.
“I was like ‘I haven’t!’ It’s been 10 years and the so-called pictures have never come out. Why? Because it didn’t happen. So that was the split.”

The star continued telling New magazine: “I would have stayed married to the first one. I believe in getting married and staying with them forever.”
Katie and Peter struck up a romance when they met on the third series of I’m A Celeb! in 2004.
Their love blossomed in camp and a year later, they married in a lavish ceremony at Highclere Castle in Hampshire, with Peter rocking £2,000 fringe extensions.

Not wanting to miss out on lucrative money-spinning deals, their marriage played out on screen and the lovebirds documented the ups and downs of their relationship in several ITV reality series.
The couple welcomed Junior Savva Andreas André in June 2005 and Princess Tiaamii Crystal Esther Andre in June 2007.
However, their marital bliss ended in 2009 when Katie’s spokesperson announced the pair had split.
Both have remarried, with Katie walking down the aisle in 2010, marrying cage fighter Alex Reid. The pair split in 2021, and a year later she wed former stripper Kieran Hayler in 2013.
The pair recently finalised their divorce after separating in 2018.
Peter married doctor Emily, neé MacDonagh, in July 2015 – and the couple share two children together.
