David Beckham and wife Victoria Beckham are determined to make sure their new Cotswolds is the ultimate high security country escape.
According to new planning applications seen by Express.co.uk, the international power couple have asked the council if they can build a secret underground passage from the sprawling nine bedroom home to a luxury garage.
They also have requested the inclusion of a security hut.
The plans are said to include plans to build an extensive wine cellar.
The mega-mansion, which is said to be worth £5million, already boasts tennis courts, a tree house and extensive gardens.

Speaking of the plans, David and Victoria’s planning agent said: “The proposed development includes a new basement cellar constructed beneath the extension to the existing garage outbuilding with a linked walkway.
“The basement cellar beneath is for storage of wine and the proposed use of the outbuilding is solely in association with the main dwelling house.

“It will improve security for the occupants of the property.
“The proposed [garage] extension adds three new bays to the existing garage outbuilding, increasing the building from four bays to seven.”
