SAS: Who Dares Wins star Ant Middleton has thrown his hat into the ring to be the next James Bond.
The TV hardman, 39, told on Instagram that he would like to play the famous double-agent after Daniel Craig steps down.
He revealed that he “would love to be the next James Bond “.
Ant, who was an undercover sniper in the Special Boat Service (SBS), said: “I would love to play James Bond. Why not?”
He added: “[It would] bring it home completely. James Bond was SBS, the proper special forces – not the SAS!”

Ant made the comments after being tipped to be the next Bond by former Celebrity SAS contestant Katie Price.
Katie said: “I would gladly put my life in his hands.”
Fans also tipped Ant to play the double agent.

Last month singer Robbie Williams told how he is desperate to play James Bond in the hit British film franchise.
The Rock DJ singer has limited acting experience but has called on bosses take him seriously in his dream of playing the spy.

Robbie, 46, said: “I want to throw my hat into the ring and be the next James Bond… but people don’t know what type of range I have got.
“I have range as an actor, this cheeky thing is all an act.”
