Lorraine Kelly has ruled out taking part in Celebrity Gogglebox over fears she would lose friends due to her off the cuff comments.
Speaking ahead of the new Channel 4 series of Celebrity Gogglebox, which kicks off this tonight, Lorraine chatted, 60, to Denise Van Outen and her partner Eddie about filming the fly-on-the-wall series.
The Essex based couple are just two of a string full of celebs taking part in the show.
Laughing, Denise said: “It is basically an extension of our lockdown.
“We haven’t moved from our sofa. It has been quite nice.

Eddie has been doing the cooking and gardening and I have been doing the home schooling.”
In a candid admission, Lorraine joked her blunt comments could land her in trouble if she agreed to take part.
Lorraine said: “I am so passable [with comments] people would never speak to me again.”
Despite being one of the most warm and bubbly stars of UK TV, Lorraine also isn’t known to hold her tongue – engaging in on-screen battles with Esther McVey and Jennifer Arcuri live on ITV recently.

Earlier on in Friday’s edition of Good Morning Britain, Lorraine was nearly moved to tears after her friend and co-star Kate Garraway spoke for the first time since her husband Derek had been hospitalised and placed into a medically induced coma with Covid-19.
To make matters worse Kate also was struck down with the virus – all be it a much milder strain.

Kate, 53, said: “I think at the beginning of this that is what it was like, some people got it very mildly.
“I have had it mercifully mildly although there was a couple of days when I thought ‘oh my goodness what happens if i get really sick because we are in lockdown and it is just me with the children’… but I had it mercifully.
“Other people have it more serious and have to go to hospital.”
Good Morning Britain airs weekdays on ITV at 6am
