Liam Gallagher starts Oasis comeback rumours with 'we have music' comment

Liam Gallagher has fuelled Oasis comeback rumours today with his latest tweets.

Rumours of a reunion with brother Noel Gallagher have been rife for months.

And although Noel has said he doesn’t want to get the band back together, Liam has been adamant he wants a reunion.

And he got fans excited on Twitter today.

Witnessed by his 3.3million followers, Liam tweeted: “Brothers n sisters we have lift of c’mon you know LG x.”

He then added: “We have music you’re not gonna get to hear it just yet, but we have it all the same LG x.”

One fan asked: “Are Oasis back?”

While another probed: “Is it with Noel?”

A third chimed in: “Oh my God, are you joking?”

The comments come after Liam gave a sweet birthday message to Noel last month.

In the social media message, sent to mark Noel’s 53rd birthday, younger brother Liam said: “Happy birthday Rkid have a good 1 love yo [sic] long time LG x.”

He then later tweeted: “Isn’t LOVE a wonderful thing to give and receive celestial biblical LG x.”

Liam explained to fans: “I’m on the gin n tonic and have a guess what […] I think I might have sunstroke what Dya reckon.”

One fan then asked Liam: “Did Noel message you back?”, Liam replied – in a message we assume is a joke: “Yeah he said stop stealing the show this is my day I said impossible.”

Oasis shot to fame in 1994 with their debut album Definitely Maybe.

Their last studio album was 2008’s Dig Out Your Soul.
