Coleen Rooney hiring top London lawyer as Wagather Christine case continues

Coleen Rooney has allegedly hired a top London legal team over concerns her case against Rebekah Vardy is collapsing.

The 34-year-old is currently locked in a legal battle after accusing Rebekah of leaking stories about her family life to the press.

However, Coleen is reportedly angry when she was informed her case is not as strong as she initially thought.

Coleen, who is married to Wayne Rooney, prompted a social media meltdown last year after she claimed the mum-of-five was behind stories that were taken to the press from her Instagram account.

A source claimed to The Sun that the case is now “a total mess”.

They told the publication: “When Coleen posted her infamous Wagatha Christie allegations, she thought it was a total certainty she was in the right.

“But now she’s been told she may have made some mistakes along the way and is keen to shift the blame to anyone else. It’s a total mess.”

They added: “Along the way, something has been hidden from everyone else involved and it could end up costing them the whole case.

“Coleen still won’t back down — and now she’s decided who to hold responsible, she is planning to fork out big time and hire a very expensive London legal team who are specialists in media and privacy work.

“She’ll do anything in her power to salvage things.”

The feud began last October when Coleen made allegations against Rebekah after accusing her of taking stories from her private Instagram account, and passing them on to The Sun.

Coleen claimed he was able to prove her theory about Vardy’s Instagram account by blocking all accounts but one from seeing her story.

She made up a number of false stories, including gender selection in Mexico, returning to TV, and her basement flooding after storm Lorenzo, which all featured in the newspaper.
