Phillip Schofield speechless as 'Cougar Gran' comments on his sex life

Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby spoke to Gaynor Evans, a self-confessed “cougar gran”, on Tuesday’s This Morning, about how she’s struggling without sex during lockdown.

She compared her own situation to that of married couples, whose sex lives aren’t affected during lockdown – assuming they live in the same house, that is.

But Gaynor couldn’t help commenting on Phil’s home and sex life, after he came out as gay earlier this year, though is still living in his family home during lockdown.

She quipped: “I don’t know what Phil’s up to.”

The silver fox’s jaw dropped and he was left speechless as Gaynor continued to speak of her sexless lockdown.

She explained: “I’ve done OK, I’ve been a really well behaved adult and I’m sure the younger single people out there are not sticking to the rules like me.”

Gaynor spoke about the recent changes in law which make it illegal for people who don’t live in the same household to have sex.

The sex itself is not illegal, but the rules say that groups of two or more people from separate households may not gather indoors.

On top of that, it is now illegal to stay overnight away from your home “without reasonable excuse” – and sex isn’t one of them.

Gaynor labelled it “ridiculous”, adding: “How are they gonna police that?”

She said that she can’t last “much longer” not having sex in lockdown.

The grandmother said: “I have to be honest, I’m at the point of no return.”

Gaynor blames BBC series Normal People, which features endless sex scenes, for her horniness.

She said: “I was tipped over the edge by the series Normal People, which has been a big thing.

“It hasn’t helped me at all. Watching that has been like, ‘Oh my God, why am I watching this?'”

Gaynor even went as far as saying seeing politicians on television wasn’t helping, name-checking “Dishy” Rishi Sunak and “Dashing” Dominic Raab.

This Morning airs weekdays at 10am on ITV
