Liam Gallagher says 'Oasis have unfinished business' as reunion rumours spread

Liam Gallagher has once again added fuel to the Oasis reunion fire thanks to his latest tweet.

The 47-year-old, who has been spending lockdown with fiancé Debbie Gwyther, took to Twitter to air his feelings about his former band, which led to fans pleading with the star for a possible concert.

He wrote: “That’s why Oasis have unfinished business The Verve equalised and want a straightener.”

While it’s not clear what Liam was referring to when praising The Verve, however, his remark soon sent had fans asking if an Oasis concert could happen in the future.

One fan asked: “Do you want to make a petition to get oasis back together? I’d sign it.”

While another eyed up a performance at the UK’s biggest festival, writing: “Glasto 2021 surprise set c’mon.”

However, not everyone thought a reunion was a good idea, adding: “Some things are best left alone.”

With time on his hands in lockdown, the Wall of Glass hitmaker has been voicing his opinions on matters as well as extending yet another olive branch to his estranged brother, Noel Gallagher.

The pair haven’t seen eye-to-eye since Noel sensationally quit Oasis in 2009 following a huge backstage row – and the pair have failed to kiss and make up.

Moving past their differences, Liam decided to wish his older sibling a happy birthday on the social media platform.

“Happy birthday Rkid have a good 1 love you long time LG x,” he wrote.

It seems Liam has also had a change of heart, and also reached out to long-time rival Robbie Williams.

The duo became pals shortly before Robbie launched his solo career in the mid-nineties, but their friendship took a turn when Noel labelled the Angels singer “‘the fat dancer from Take That”.

He put: “Oi Robbie Balboa it’s LG. I hear you got shit going down in your fam I’m sorry to hear that love n light going out to your family stay cool and in tune LG x”.
