Loose Women ‘s Ruth Langsford was branded a “diva” by her co-star Saira Khan on today’s show when she jokingly made a snappy coffee order.
Going to an ad-break in the middle of a conversation with former EastEnders star Riley Carter Millington, Ruth turned her attention to the behind-the-scenes crew.
Apologising for interrupting the interview with Riley, she said: “I’m really sorry to have had to cut Riley off there but you know that’s live telly!”
Turning to the crew, she announced: “Can someone get me an oat milk latte there.”
Adding to the order, she shouted: “No sugar.”

With a playful smile on her face, she demanded: “Quickly now!”
Saira started bursting out laughing in the seat opposite her, as she announced: “Diva!”
Once the ad break came to an end, Riley appeared back on the screen, as he discussed JK Rowling’s controversial tweets over the weekend.

The Harry Potter author was accused of transphobia after she made a number of remarks about women and menstruation.
Retweeting an article with a headline discussing “people who menstruate,” Rowling said: “I’m sure there used to be a word for those people. Someone help me out. Wumben? Wimpund? Woomud?”
Riley, who was one of the first transgender actors to play a trans character on a British soap, explained why her comments were hurtful to the LGBTQ+ community.

He said: “For me personally at the end of the day I think people like JK Rowling need to recognise the influence they have and how detrimental their words can be.”
Riley added: “If anything it’s very ill-timed and distasteful.”
While Riley insisted the author should only apologise if she sincerely meant it, he added: “At the end of the day I want people to be willing to be educated.”
