EastEnders fans gobsmacked as Sharon leaves Phil blindsided by buying Queen Vic

EastEnders fans couldn’t believe what they were witnessing during the final episode of the BBC One soap tonight amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Viewers watched on as the storyline follows Phil Mitchell’s battle to buy the pub the Queen Vic from Linda and Nick Carter.

But Linda brutally refused to sell it to the Albert Square hardman and instead, Mick asked Phil’s former wife Sharon Watts for help getting his wife out of the landlady and landlord scene.

However, Sharon then offered Mick an offer he just couldn’t refuse.

It comes after Linda begged her husband Mick not to sell the pub to Phil, as she fumed about how he has treated Sharon and her baby boy Kayden.

Prior to making the deal with Sharon, Mick had already promised the pub to Phil, and he and Linda had put a deposit down on a flat.

Mick warned Linda that he did not want to make an enemy out of the hard man, but Linda still refused to let him.

Mick (played by Danny Dyer) then asked Sharon to convince her best friend and his wife to let Phil have the pub.

Later on, Phil arrived at the pub ready for Mick and Linda to sign it over, and Mick told him “thanks, but no thanks” revealing he had found another buyer.

Viewers were overwhelmed with the outcome and rushed to Twitter to share their thoughts.

One viewer tweeted: “SHARON IS BACK AS THE QUEEN VIC OWNER!!! WOOO!!! @bbceastenders#EastEnders”
