Good Morning Britain newsreader and stand-in host Ranvir Singh swapped her early wake-up call for a lunchtime television stint on Thursday.
She joined the Loose Women panel as the host, presenting the show alongside Nadia Sawalha and Saira Khan, while Carol McGiffin joined them via a video link.
And to celebrate Ranvir joining the ladies, Saira had her own form of initiation, pulling out a black one-piece swimsuit and telling her she had to pose in it.
That’s because the Loose Women stars all stripped down to their smalls for a body positivity photoshoot to celebrate bodies of all shapes and sizes.

But Ranvir wasn’t keen, quickly telling Saira: “I can hear Westminster calling, my big coat.”
She added: “I’m really happy covered up. I’ve put a stone on during lockdown.
“I wouldn’t even look at myself in a swimsuit in my house, let alone on a billboard!”
Luckily for Ranvir, the situation passed and she wasn’t forced to strip off on television.

The campaign, Body Stories, launched in 2017 and saw the Loose Women panelists – Katie Price, Coleen Nolan, Janet Street Porter, Andrea McLean, Stacey Solomon, Nadia Sawalha, Linda Robson, Saira Khan and Jane Moore – strip to swimsuits or bikinis for an un-retouched shot.
Later, some men got involved in the honest campaign, including Dr Ranj, Shayne Ward, Bruno Tonioli and Judge Rinder.
Each of the Loose Women had their own reasons for getting involved.
Saira explained: “Because of my culture, I was taught from a young age that you should never draw attention to your body, and I was expected to wear conservative clothing like the rest of my family.
“But it was an incident (when I was 13) that really impact my relationship with my body.
“That one-off incident (when I was assaulted by an uncle) left me reeling. My parents taught me that if my body was covered I’d be respected, but I wasn’t.”
