Michelle Keegan left in tears over Rio Ferdinand and Kate baby announcement

Michelle Keegan said she was in tears when she found out pals Rio Ferdinand and his wife Kate Ferdinand are expecting their first child together.

The 33-year-old former BBC Our Girl actress, who is married to fellow TV star Mark Wright, took to her official Instagram account to comment on the couple’s announcement.

Kate and Rio took to their own Instagram accounts yesterday to share a sweet clip of the mother-to-be showing her baby bump to Rio’s children who were left overjoyed by the news.

Friends, family and fellow celebs rushed to the comment section of the post to share their congratulations for the loved-up pair.

Michelle instantly rushed to inform the couple how happy she was from them and confessed to be left in tears.

She commented underneath the clip: “Awwww that made me cry. Huge congratulations to you all, lovely news.”

Michelle followed her comment up with a sea of heart emojis and kisses.

Other celebs also rushed to congratulate the pair, including This Morning’s Rochelle Humes husband former JLS star Marvin Humes.

Marvin gushed: “Huge! Congrats to you all bro..very happy for you.”

DJ Reggie Yates commented: “Everything mate. Everything.”

Kate secretly filmed the moment they told Lorenz, 13, Tate, 11, and nine-year-old Tia – Rio’s kids with late wife Rebecca, who died of cancer.

After the kids were told they jumped up and down with excitement as they began running around the room cheering.

Kate previously confessed in 2018 that Rio’s children had been begging them to give them another sibling.
