Katie Hopkins was banned from Twitter yesterday after she shared a tweet spouting ‘hateful conduct’ following the Black Lives Matter movement this week.
Now that the 45-year-old former LBC host has been axed from Twitter, many have rejoiced online, delighted that she’s unable to tweet anymore.
The news of her Twitter page being taken down has gone viral, as many have been tweeting with the hashtag “Katie Hopkins Is Over Party”.
One person tweeted: “Just when you thought that 2020 couldn’t have any good news Katie Hopkins gets banned from Twitter. Yes!”
While another social media user wrote: “Katie Hopkins got permanently banned from twitter lmao.”

A third savagely trolled Katie, writing: “Haha Twitter feels so much better without that horrid old miserable c*** on it anymore. Bye Felecia,” adding three laughing-face emojis too their swipe.
“Thank f*** we don’t have to see Katie Hopkins’ hateful, contradicting purposefully antagonising bull**** anymore,” tweeted a fourth.
While a fifth added: “Katie Hopkins has been PERMANENTLY SUSPENDED from Twitter for violating its hateful conduct policy. Thank you Twitter! Not all heroes wear capes!!!”

Not everyone was pleased to see the former Apprentice contestant’s account suspended, as one wrote: “Katie Hopkins; my hero! Sad you have been unjustifiably banned.”
While another wrote: “Sad to see Katie Hopkins banned! She was so witty and shocking.”
“Kind of sad Katie Hopkins got permanently banned, she was one of the biggest trolls on this app,” said a third.

Twitter banned Katie from it’s site last night after she shared one final tweet, where it seems she was tweeting moaning about her verified status on the site.
Katie’s ban comes after she mocked the BLM movement on Wednesday, causing outrage as she tweeted: “”Today is #whiteoutwednesday. I will shortly be posting a picture of my arse. Thank you.”
A spokesperson for the social media giant said about Katie’s ban: “Keeping Twitter safe is a top priority for us – abuse and hateful conduct have no place on our service and we will continue to take action when our rules are broken.

“In this case, the account has been permanently suspended for violations of our Hateful Conduct policy.”
She also caused outrage after slamming Manchester United legend Marcus Rashford following his successful campaign to secure free school meals for children over the summer amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Her tweet read: “Dear @MarcusRashford, do you think women should think about how they are going to feed a child before they decide to have it?

“I do not want to pay to feed other people’s kids. You are welcome to.
“Thank you, Katie Hopkins.”
Her tweet came after Rashford wrote an open letter to MPs on Monday calling for the Government to reverse the decision not to extend the meal scheme, which they did, as a £120million ‘Covid Summer Food Fund’ was announced on Tuesday.
