Masterchef Gregg Wallace says he lost weight for gorgeous younger wife and son

MasterChef star Gregg Wallace has opened up about fitness journey leaving to his incredibly four stone weight loss.

The 55-year-old television presenter has revealed that his wife Anna, 34, and their baby son Sid, one, were the reason why he decided to get into shape.

Gregg, who now weighs less than 12 stone, explained: “Anna looks after herself and looks fantastic so I wanted to be in shape for her.

“Us old folk can’t look like a 20-year-old but we can make ourselves feel like it.

“All men should want to be in shape for their other half and if you find yourself single, like I seem to be every five or six years, you want to be in the best shape you can when on the market.”

Gregg, who is the father of two adult children, was also keen to get fit for his young son, Sid.

The BBC star continued telling The Sun: “I was going to be an old dad I didn’t want to be a fat dad too.

“I’d already lost weight becoming a dad again pushed me to keep going.”

His latest interview comes just days after he launched his own fitness website called Gregg’s ShowMe.Fit.

Gregg’s wife Anna is also involved in the the well-being brand which offers fans workouts, nutrition and motivation plans devised the star himself and his personal trainer Danny Rai.

Gregg’s ShowMe.Fit Instagram account already boasts more than 7,000 followers.

The Inside The Factory host revealed in one clip posted on the brands social media page that his plan is for “everybody”.

Gregg first started losing weight in 2017 and said he was inspired to do so to keep up with his glamorous wife, who is 21 years his junior.

He has been working hard on his new healthy lifestyle with daily exercise and more home cooking after “making a conscious decision to cut down on fried food, sugar and booze”.

Gregg hit his goal weight in April and is keen to help other people learn how to overhaul their life.

Marking the milestone, he told his Instagram followers: “4 stone later. I want to help people be fitter in happier.”

Gregg recently admitted he was starting to “miss the gym” as he maintained his gruelling fitness regime in the garden.

All public gymnasiums across the UK have bene closed for months due to the coronavirus pandemic.
