It looks like Olly Murs could be off Simon Cowell’ s Christmas card list after he blasted the music mogul’s flagship show on social media.
The singer, who appeared on the X Factor in 2009, uploaded a video of himself singing on the show but was told to take down the clip, claiming it was owned by the TV network.
Following the removal of the clip, Olly vented his frustration on the photo-sharing app and said he found it “unbelievable”.
He exclaimed: “I’ve just had to delete my audition on The X Factor ’cause apparently there’s a dispute between X Factor or something that I can’t use their content.

“Er, hello? It’s me in the f***ing video.
“Unbelievable. So I can’t post my audition that I did on X Factor because it’s been banned by them. Hahaha wow.”
He blamed X Factor, however, the platform he sourced the video from automatically blocked it.
Moving past the incident, he jokingly mocked the removal of the video by later posting a topless selfie, writing: “This picture will get blocked now ’cause I’m showing a nipple.”
Olly previously played down any animosity with Simon after leaving his presenting gig on the X Factor following a blunder.
The slip up saw the singer prematurely announce one of the contestants had been voted off in 2015.
Since he left his hosting duties on the X Factor, he soon signed up to be a judge on The Voice, which airs on ITV’s rival network, the BBC.

“Is it true Simon Cowell tried to lure you back?” Kate Garraway questioned him on Good Morning Britain in 2019.
“He did. He did in the summer. Listen, I love Simon, love X Factor, nothing but love for the show, but just being on The Voice with the coaches, it wasn’t about money,” Olly replied.
“It was more about the chemistry we had as a team. If one of them wasn’t coming back it might have been a different decision. I just love the show, I love the people on it and they gave me an amazing opportunity as a coach and to help other people. So I’m having a great time on it.”
