Made in Chelsea star confirms new season is 'in the works' after filming break

Made in Chelsea star Miles Nazaire has confirmed the new season of the hit E4 reality show is “in the works” after filming was suspended earlier this year.

Speaking exclusively to Daily Star Online, the 24-year-old reality star revealed filming has yet to get underway, but plans are in place for production to begin “soon”.

Miles explained the host of reality stars are waiting on direction from E4 bosses, to see when the cast and crew can safely return to filming post-lockdown.

He said: “We’re still trying to sort things out to see how we’re going to start filming the following season.

“But it’s definitely in the works, we’re still waiting on any news yet.

“But we definitely will be filming soon.”

Season 19 of Made in Chelsea was just hitting its stride when lockdown restrictions were put in place, forcing filming to grind to a halt.

The season ended with a tense confrontation between Sam Thompson and Zara McDermott at Tiffany Watson’s vegan leather handbag launch.

Zara was furious to learn that Sam had shared a taxi home from a night out with ex-girlfriend Tiff, even though the two maintained they were nothing more than friends.

On top of that, Sophie Habboo was confused to see her ex-boyfriend, Harvey Armstrong, fall for her best pal and roommate, Emily Blackwell.

The MIC cast filmed lockdown specials from their homes, updating E4 viewers on the drama that had unfolded behind the scenes.

Taking their relationship to the next level, Emily and Harvey spent the lockdown together, regularly sharing social media updates with their legions of followers.

Zara and Sam also spent the period in his London home, moving past the drama of MIC and enjoying the alone time lockdown has afforded.

And, Sophie and boyfriend Jamie Laing – having moved in together right before the lockdown – kept their fans entertained with daily video content, taking on challenges and playing pranks on one another before the camera.

Meanwhile, new cast members Verity Bowditch and Tristan Phipps have split – but viewers will have to wait until the next season to find out the details behind the breakup.
