Emmerdale fans gobsmacked as Jamie Tate makes discovery in huge plot twist

Emmerdale viewers were perplexed after Jamie Tate made a shocking discovery on tonight’s episode.

Andrea Tate recently went missing on the popular ITV soap, and she was later tracked down by the police.

Jamie still had no idea where she was, but tonight he was gobsmacked as he returned home to find their daughter Millie, who had also been missing, sitting in the house.

The character was stunned to find Millie in the kitchen alone, while Andrea was still nowhere to be seen.

Fans were perplexed, fuming that Andrea had left their child home alone.

One said: “Millie’s home but where’s Andrea?!”

While another wrote: “Andrea willingly left Millie at Home Farm alone & went where exactly?”

“Millie is back, but no sign of Andrea,” added a third.

Jamie didn’t find out where Andrea was, and he just assumed she had dropped Millie off and went away again.

Fans continued to fume after seeing Andrea had left her daughter behind.

One said: “Wtf is Andrea playing at now by leaving Millie with Jamie?”

While another said: “Andrea left Millie with Jamie,” with a sad face emoji.

“Will Andrea actually be back though? Why would she just willingly abandon her Daughter after everything she did to keep her family together?” added another viewer.

Earlier this week viewers spotted a blunder amid the Andrea exit plot.

A policeman tracked her down, and when he found her, he was rocking designer stubble around his mouth and chin.

But later in the episode, the same policeman had a much longer beard as he spoke to Jamie about finding his wife, which gave away the break of filming due to the coronavirus lockdown.

Fans flocked to Twitter, noticing the beard gaffe immediately.

One said: “Check out that beard, was half the length earlier.”

While another joked: “Fastest growing beard ever on Emmerdale tonight! Great to see it back.”

“Can’t help noticing which scenes were filmed before lockdown. Had to giggle at the policeman’s beard suddenly growing!” tweeted a third.

Emmerdale continues on Monday at 7pm on ITV
