Noel Gallagher fails to sell home despite slashing price by millions

Noel Gallagher is struggling to sell his London abode as the property remains on the market after four years.

The six-bed house, located in Maida Vale, has seen its price reduced from its original asking price of £11.5million to £7.95m.

And the Mancunian musician is struggling to find a buyer for the property despite considering slashing the offer.

A source told The Sun: “It’s considered to be one of the nicest properties in the area.

“It’s absolutely stunning. It’s a great location. It’s got everything you’d want. It’s a surprise he hasn’t found a buyer.

“Whoever buys it will have a lot of celebs nearby and very wealthy neighbours.”

The London property was put on the market in May 2016 but the price has been slowly lowering since 2018.

The father-of-three previously opened up about leaving London following a series of stabbings in the capital.

He has since relocated to a stunning country pile in Hertfordshire with his wife, Sara McDonald, and children.

Speaking about his decision to quit city life, the High Flying Birds frontman said he has safety concerns regarding his young children.

Discussing the reasons behind his London exit, he told the Irish Independent: “We didn’t want the kids growing up in London.

“I live, as you can imagine, in quite an affluent area. At one end of the street is one housing estate and the other end is another housing estate. They are currently at war.

“One guy was tabbed in the middle of the f***king day and an air ambulance had to come and land in the middle of the street and all the streets were taped off.”

He added: “Donovan is 11 and is now coming to go to secondary school and we were just saying it would be too f***ing stressful if he is on the Tube and he is coming home and he is being mugged for his phone.

“So we decided that we are going to go out to the country and put them to school in the country. We’ll just commute into London.”
